Snippet of the Month...

Assessment and feedback are crucial for helping people learn. Assessment that is consistent with principles of learning and understanding should:
  • Mirror good instruction
  • Happen continuously, but not intrusively, as part of instruction
  • Provide information about the levels of understanding that students are reaching.
--John Bransford, Ann Brown, and Rodney R. Cocking, How People Learn, 2000, p. 244

New Opportunities for CPS Training...

We're now able to offer you one-on-one help with CPS over your computer!

GoToMeeting's Web-conferencing tool allows us to:

  • securely share our desktop with meeting attendees
  • transfer control of the presentor's keyboard and mouse to other users
  • easily view other attendee desktops by switching presenter with a click
  • draw, highlight and point to items of interest right on the screen
  • chat with a specific meeting participant or with all attendees before or during the meeting
These meetings are great if you are just needing a little bit of help or have a small group of teachers that need some questions answered. These allow us to have training when our schedule might not allow us the time to drive to your school.

If you'd like to schedule a GoToMeeting, just let us know!
