Clicker Activities
These clicker activities and CPS databases will give you just the jumpstart you need to get started implementing eInstruction clickers in your classroom.
Contrary to what many educators assume, making content for your student response system doesn't have to be difficult or time-consuming. In addition to quickly importing an entire
question bank from ExamView, you will find that there are a variety of different interactive quizzes and clicker-ready activities available on the Internet.
This page will give you a boost to finding clicker activities to engage and motivate your students. However, you may also find some great links in our whiteboard activities to use with your
clickers. The activities below consist of interactive quizzes, games, flash movies, and PowerPoint resources that are well-suited to use with clickers.
These clicker activities can easily be incorporated with CPS in verbal mode; simply use CPS right over the top of the Internet.
Use your imagination when considering these clicker activities and how the activities can apply to your lesson...focus learners, introduce a topic, take a brain
break, test knowledge, or provide learners with current information on an old topic!
There is no way this could be an all-inclusive
list, so we've also included some starting points for searching for your own clicker activites, as well as a few links to CPS databases we've found scattered over the Internet.
We have also included some PowerPoint resources that may be easily customizable you just by opening them with CPS PowerPoint and inserting in your own clicker questions.
In addition to the resources listed below, eInstruction's recently launched eI Community provides a resource for educators to check out blogs and participate in discussion boards to find out
the latest educational "buzz," as well as to share their high-quality resources. Resources are searchable and contain a variety of file types, including
CPS Databases, ExamView banks, content bundles, images and PDFs, Adobe Flash objects, Microsoft Office documents, text files, video, and audio. This is not only a great resource to get
resources, but a fantastic venue to share your own!
