How Do I Get A CPS Access Card?
by Steve Wright
I've purchased my books and clicker used online. The official booklist includes a CPS Access Card with the new textbook. How do I get an access card? No Worries -- Just Get Online!Steve, This is a great question since so many people are purchasing used textbooks online these days. The CPS Access Card is sometimes packaged with new textbooks and contains the necessary enrollment code for you to participate in class with your clicker. When the card is included with the book, the clicker enrollment code is also included in the price of the textbook. However, if you have purchased your textbooks used and did not receive a CPS Access Card, you may simply purchase your enrollment code online. If you will wait until the first day of class, your instructor should give you a class code and instructions on setting up your clicker. When the time comes to do that, you will not use the CPS Access Card, you will simply purchase your enrollment code online using either a check or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or Discover) To purchase your enrollment code: 1. Go to www.einstruction.com. 2. Click the button labeled "Students" at the top of the eInstruction home page. 3. On the right side of the page, you will see a place to choose your university from a drop-down menu. On the left side of the page, you will see links for printable instructions for creating your CPSOnline account and enrolling your response pad in your class. 4. Follow the instructions provided by your instructor and outlined in the printable instructions.
