Mobi Disconnecting
In the middle of teaching, my Mobi will stop working and say disconnected. It will then automatically say attempting to connect and then connected. Depending on the day, this process can take anywhere from 10 seconds to 20 seconds and can happen up to 7 times in one class period. Is the issue with my computer, updates, the usb drive, etc.??
Your Mobi is obviously acting quirky and that is often times the sign of it needing a firmware update. However, you might also try going into the settings and disabling the "Auto Save" feature.
If you are still having problems with the Mobi disconnecting, follow the path below to update your Mobi firmware.
- Make sure your Mobi if hardwired to the computer (connected to your computer via USB.
- Open the eInstruction Device Manager.
- Choose File -> Preferences -> Firmware Update Tab -> Check For Updates
- Download and install the new firmware if an update is available.
Hopefully your Mobi will be better behaved after a good firmware update!
