Onsite Training...An Essential Purchase

Onsite training is the most effective way to "prime" your building staff to reap the most benefit from new technology. In fact, we recommend taking advantage of more than one of the multiple instructional opportunities that we offer.

When used effectively, our products are a goldmine in the classroom. However, neither teachers nor students benefits from technology that is used as a bookstop.

Engaging Technologies provides training and ongoing support to schools that purchase eInstruction and Livescribe products through our company. Pricing for training sessions depends on the number being trained and the length and quantity of the training sessions.

See below for onsite training opportunities we can offer your staff...

1. Demonstrations are designed to give teachers or staff an overview of the most common features of our products. Our general demonstration involves CPS, ExamView, and the Interwrite Mobi. A full-size Interwrite DualBoard can also be set up and demonstrated upon request. Demonstrations last 30 - 90 minutes, depending on the time available.

1. Hands-on instruction can last 2, 4, or 6 hours and is best held in a computer lab where each teacher has access to a computer with the product software preinstalled. Teachers will have the opportunity to practice each of product features demonstrated by the instructor. It is best to limit hands-on instruction sessions to 15 teachers.

1. Followup workshops allow experienced eInstruction product users to get training on advanced product features. These workshops are designed for teachers who are currently using our products and are ready to take it to the next level.
   
   Examples of followup workshops we have previously conducted are:

• State Standards and CPS: Downloading, Importing and Linking to Questions
• Using PowerPoint with CPS
• Getting Creative with CPS: Multiple Ways to Ask Questions
• Having Fun While Learning: Making the Most of Team Activities
• Implementing ACE Packages into CPS

1. Individual consultation is available to for anyone wanting a little extra attention before they are off and running with a particular prduct. If ideas learned during training are not quickly put to use in the classroom, a user may sometimes need a refresher to get them started.

   Our goal is for every user to feel comfortable using our products and for it to be an enjoyable experience, whether in our training sessions or in their own classrooms. One-on-one consultations can occur over the phone, in person, or through an interactive session on your computer using GoToMeeting.
