Onsite Training for eInstruction Products

Onsite training is one of the most effective ways to jumpstart your building staff into getting the most from their eInstruction products. In fact, we recommend taking advantage of more than one of the multiple instructional opportunities that we offer.

eInstruction products are a goldmine, but they don't do students and teachers any good sitting on the shelf!

Engaging Technologies provides onsite training and ongoing support to schools that purchase CPS through our company. Pricing for training sessions depends on the number being trained and the length and quantity of the training sessions.

See the onsite training opportunities below that we can offer to your staff.

Demonstrations

Demonstrations are designed to give teachers or staff an overview of the most common features of our products. Our general demonstration involves CPS, ExamView, and the interactive tablet. A full-size whiteboard can also be set up and demonstrated. Demonstrations last 30 - 90 minutes, depending on the time available.

Hands-On Instruction

Hands-on instruction can last 2, 4, or 6 hours and is best held in a computer lab where each teacher has access to a computer with the product software preinstalled. Teachers will have the opportunity to practice each of product features demonstrated by the instructor. It is best to limit hands-on instruction sessions to 15 teachers.

Followup Workshops

Followup workshops allow experienced eInstruction product users to get advanced training on a particular product feature. These workshops are designed for teachers who are currently using our products and are ready to take it to the next level.

Examples of followup workshops we have previously conducted are:

  • State Standards and CPS: Downloading, Importing and Linking to Questions
  • Using PowerPoint with CPS
  • Getting Creative with CPS: Multiple Ways to Ask Questions
  • Having Fun While Learning: Making the Most of Team Activities
  • Implementing ACE Packages into CPS

Individual Consultation

We are also available to work one-on-one with anyone wanting to learn the ins and outs of CPS. Sometimes a CPS user needs a little extra attention before they are off and running with CPS. Also, as much as we would like to think they don't, a CPS user may sometimes forget things learned at training, especially if new ideas aren't quickly put to use in the classroom.

Our goal is for every CPS user to feel completely comfortable using CPS and for it to be an enjoyable experience, whether in our training sessions or in their own classrooms. One-on-one consultations can occur over the phone, in person, or through an interactive session on your computer using GoToMeeting.

Customized Training

The above options are only examples of how you can work together with your eInstruction Consultant to make eInstruction products most effective at your school. Remember, if you purchase CPS through Engaging Technologies, you can count on us for training and ongoing support. If you've purchased your eInstruction products elsewhere, we would be glad to support you too!

Please contact us to discuss how we can best serve you.

training delirium
WARNING
Time spent in onsite training on a revolutionary product such as this will change your perception of teaching. It may result in increased giddiness, sweating, shortness of breath, increased brain function, and tremors.

Full delirium may result, as evidenced in the picture on the right.

Just kidding, these ladies just know how to make their own fun.

However, we are confident you will enjoy our trainings and will be motivated to implement something new when you leave!
